PEUGEOT TACKLES DROP IN YOUNG DRIVER CAR OWNERSHIP BY EXTENDING JUST ADD FUEL™ SCHEME

Young drivers are now, more than ever, feeling the financial challenge of owning a car and this, along with ever increasing costs associated with motoring, means fewer young people are buying and maintaining vehicles.

The latest TGI intel indicates that young driver car ownership dropped 12 per cent between 2010 and 2011* and with a break in the increasing cost of motoring seeming unlikely, this figure is set to drop even further.

In an attempt to support young drivers and keep them on the road, Peugeot is extending its unique Just Add Fuel™ scheme to include drivers from 21 years of age.

Just Add Fuel™ is a simple car ownership solution that allows drivers to purchase a brand new Peugeot by covering all the major motoring costs in one single fixed monthly payment. Previously only available to those drivers aged 25 and above, Peugeot has extended the age range so that anyone ...

DieselCar editor, Ian Robertson, commented on the RCZ, saying: “Its road-hugging stance, curvy shape and swoopy grooved top make it an instant head-swiveller. Performance defines a sports car, while styling delivers the wow factor. The RCZ has both in spades.”

The Peugeot RCZ has many virtues beyond its attractive and curvaceous bodywork.

From its ideal driving position and flowing and modern fascia to the mixture of  traditional and hi-tech materials used in the passenger compartment, the RCZ instantly immerses the driver in an elite, sporting environment.

The RCZ is also practical, offering two occasional rear seats whose backrests can be folded to increase the boot, which already has a generous capacity for its segment (from 384 to 760 litres).

Dynamic, elegant and aerodynamic, the style of the RCZ offers a new experience and energy derived from the original concept car architecture. The sensuality of the car’s double-bubble roof and rear windscreen, combine ...
